Partnerships and Resources

These resources can improve the quality of your life, so why not give them a look?

The Mendleton Foundation is unique among veteran’s support charities. Run entirely by retired and active duty service members, we’re a community first. And that’s because we started as a community first.

The Mendleton Foundation began as a Facebook group created for Camp Pendleton Marines and sailors to exchange and sell military gear. One evening, a Marine in a dark place with nowhere else to turn reached out for support.

The response was immediate and overwhelming. Dozens of members offered help in whatever ways they could. Even more reached out to share similar stories and struggles. The entire community rallied around one man in his moment of need. A moment of need that was familiar to many.

A movement was born.

Our mission is simple: Support. Share. Strengthen. We’re going to eliminate service member suicide and isolation.

Triple B Adventures offers veterans a chance to reconnect with fellow vets who also feel alone and unconnected. it is a chance for them to get together in a scenic environment and fresh air to share in stories, laughter and off-color jokes without judgment. Specifically, the program addresses the strained and broken transitional system and aims to limit veteran struggles thereby limiting veteran suicides.

With dynamics that mirror those of a traditional military training program, FORCE BLUE will give former combat divers and Special Operations veterans a chance to learn about and explore one of the most critically endangered ecosystems on the planet and to adapt their training and teamwork to aid in its protection.

For the world’s coral reefs, FORCE BLUE will serve as both a teaching tool and a recruitment vehicle – a highly visible way to raise public awareness and enlist a new generation of dedicated, determined advocates.
